on May 19, 2017Thanks for opening my eyes to the beauty of insects! The color and details of these photos are stunning. My favorites are the dragonfly wing detail at Frances Short Pond, the veined ctenucha moth, and the fly-and-beetle. That one really speaks to the diversity of scale in nature. I can almost sense the third, unseen insect, even more diminutive than the fly and beetle.

on August 24, 2015Besides the sharp clarity, colors, compositions, and satisfying repetitive natural patterns, you have captured so many creatures in perfect split second actions. My favorites are the insect photos-- I've always loved looking at insects. Your photos give such precise and fine glimpses of the various types, glimpses that we are rarely allowed to see.
