Flowers touch us and our language deeply: people can "flower.” Flowers also touch insects, and vice versa. They feel warm toward each other, and certainly their colors and shapes attract them to one another.
I am inspired to do flowers justice as subjects of fine-art photography. This gallery includes houseplants, garden varieties, and native plants like Blue Flag (Wild Iris), seen on the meadows of the San Francisco Peaks. You will even see a time lapse video of a spider plant flower opening!
