These photographs celebrate the human impulse to design, build, and invent. From enduring structures such as buildings and bridges to fleeting spectacles like fireworks, what is human-made takes its place within both human and natural worlds.
My architecture photography starts at home, with the Coconino County Courthouse with storm clouds, the Flagstaff Amtrak Station scene of blurred speeding trains. Waking early up to shoot the sun rising over the small city of Flagstaff, staying til sunset at local ruins— these human-made features keep me busy locally.
But I also take my architecture photography on the road to southern California and the amazing Korean-American Friendship Bell.
