Canyon Country May 2025

Canyon Country (Page AZ area) features slot canyons like Secret Canyon and massive formations like Horseshoe Bend (Colorado River). Red rock formations shaped by wind, rain, and light — a landscape of bold color and striking horizons. 

These natural phenomena are marvelous. But my images also capture human activity. The damming of Glen Canyon created Lake Powell whose sunset is so gorgeous, but have done nothing to help the endangered Colorado River. Sometimes tall and rugged, sometimes flat, these features make striking subjects of WilcePhotos fine-art photography.
