What you see below are two pairs of photos, four in all: two "before" and "after" versions. In offering them for your viewing pleasure here I have two thoughts in mind: 1) to open the door to the photographer's process, especially cropping and brightening, and 2) to call to your attention my recent work on (re-editing of) SLOT CANYON photographs from a May 2025 visit to a special part of northern Arizona— Page and the surrounding area known as Canyon Country.

I have positioned the two original or "BEFORE" photographs first— atop the "AFTER" or edited versions.

I took both of the original photographs in the same geologic structure. Its Dine (Navajo) owners call the canyon Secret Canyon.
