We did it— finally visited Alaska. We’re very lucky to have been able to go on an 8-day cruise in the Inside Passage of Southeast Alaska. Not so nice was getting Covid half-way through.

I had hoped to see many of the charismatic large animals of Alaska. Getting sick meant missing chances to see them.

But that didn’t stop me from trying to take the kinds of photos I love. This old landscape photographer offers you PLENTY to see in the gallery..

One thing to keep in mind— the Inside Passage, Southeast Alaska, is very different from places in Alaska's interior and far north! I am honored that you are visiting my site. No need to shop. If my photos give you an occasion to stare in wonder at Alaska's landscape, that is enough for me!
