What it was like to leave Yellowstone for home?
Buoyed up by a sunrise
We returned from Yellowstone on 9/26/25. As you've seen, I have tons of photos to share. I write this from the hospital with pneumonia. That developed out of Influenza A, which started 9/27. I was admitted to the hospital 10/7, my 71st birthday. I've had lots of time and mental space to edit and in doing so, revisit Yellowstone! But this time lapse video of sunrise from our front deck back in Flagstaff Arizona (9/30/24) says something too— we do not have to travel to find beautiful art in the world "at home." UPDATE (10/10/24)— I am home from the hospital on a challenging regime of self-care to heal from pneumonia. I certainly feel better than I did last week.
