Our Visit to Bosque del Apache and More

I am grateful to be alive and able to travel to fabulous places to photograph landscapes and wildlife. From January 5-9, 2025, we made our third visit to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Preserve in southern New Mexico. It is a 6-hour drive. On the way back we spent 3 hours in the Painted Desert portion of Petrified Forest National Park (1-9-25). I have posted new photos in my National Parks and Monuments folder (in the gallery Grand Canyon etc.) In addition, I posted Bosque photos in a new gallery within the Landscape pages.

The photographs below are the current contents of my Bosque del Apache gallery, as of now (1-11-25). "The Bosque" is world famous as a winter site to view hundreds of Sandhill Cranes, Snow Geese and Canada Geese, plus ducks, coots, and even coyotes.
