I Miss Yellowstone: Fall 2025
Here we are more than one year out from our Yellowstone experience. And I do mean EXPERIENCE! We were so lucky to get to be there for two weeks!
I have added new photos to my Yellowstone gallery. One just uploaded today can be seen here . To see the whole gallery, organized from most recently uploaded down to the oldest, click here, I am particularly fond of the photos that are dark, dramatic and brooding. The dark and dramatic tone captured in many of my photos deserved its own gallery, Dark and Brooding Visions.
We visited Yellowstone in 2024 and Alaska's Inside Passage in 2025. We miss both, each for its own reason. With our rental car in Yellowstone we had control of our itinerary and the ability to go to wildlife-rich areas. Our Alaskan cruise lacked those features, but there is nothing like being on water, seeing glacier-carved islands for 8 days.
We look back on both photographic trips with deep gratitude and, yes, longing.

For some years my wife and I have dreamed of seeing Yellowstone National Park. Now, finally, we are here (September 12-24, 2024). I will be posting new photographs out of the many hundreds I am shooting each day. I hope they evoke ooos and ahhhhs and put a smile on your face!
