Making WilcePhotos Easier to Navigate
I want everyone to know that I am making more changes to WilcePhotos' galleries.
ANIMALS- Until now I had separate galleries for bison, coyotes, deer, elk, fox, wolves, and a gallery for pronghorns, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.
Some galleries had more than others. Now you can find all of those in a more intuitive way-- the new gallery "Large Animals."
I have gone even farther with my bird galleries. All of them now find their place in one gallery--"Birds, All." That takes the place of all these and some I am forgetting!

For others, here’s a new sort of roadmap:
Are you looking for dragonflies? They now share a gallery with butterflies in their own “collections” (groupings of photos by subject)-- "Butterflies and Dragonflies.'
Beetles like ladybugs and grasshoppers have joined bees in a new gallery: "Bees, Beetles, and Bigger."
“Digitally altered” photos can now be found in “Composite Compositions and Digitally Altered Photos,” containing separate collections for altered skies, land features, and composite images.
My “Black and White” gallery now includes another photographic genre: High Key. Both B&W and ‘high key” exploit a minimalism of color.
My “Human Made” gallery has a new long subtitle to help folks find the various subjects it contains—"Human Made: Buildings, Fences, Trains, Balloons, Fireworks.” The gallery now has separate collections—"architectural photography,” and things propelled into motion by people—“trains, hot air balloons.”
I am judging that fewer galleries, each now containing related photographic subjects, will be easier to find in google searches.

I wrote this newsletter, which is what follows below, before my main external storage (drive) crashed. It’s amazing how roiled up I’ve been in the aftermath. :(
But during the week before the crash I have worked on the heart and soul of my site— THE PHOTOS… but I also
posted new photos,
edited/ beautified those and older ones (which is part of what it means to say I am an artist, a fineart photographer.)
I worked on this website by:
revising my opening pages (Welcome and About)
re-ordering all Site Pages so that the Blog choice would be visible
adding description and keywords to photos, pages, folders and galleries
so that all the beautiful images on my site are more visible to you (and Google)
Finally, I rejoiced in
discovering how popular some of my galleries are!
